First Tribe Meeting of 2006

We had our very first tribe meeting of the year on 5 Feb 06 at the Expo itself! THANKS TO SOOK SAN & HER TEAM, I believe I speak for the rest when I say we had a great time of connecting with each other! The games were great, the prizes were sweetly delicious and the sight of all of us coming together was definitely something to behold. I heard people from other tribes commenting that it was rather impressive to see us gather in such a sea of red!

For those of you who were there, I'm sure you felt a moving difference, compared to when we were confined in Samuel Hall. Meeting at the Expo, I could not help but sense that the Lord was giving a taste of that which is to come! The openess and wall-lessness of the place spoke of a church with no boundaries to people, a church without walls - a church which served the multitudes! Wasn't it most fitting and appropriate then, when Ps Seng Lee shared about His dream to see more non-chinese, the handicapped, and the hard-to-reach youths in our midsts as part of our family! I affirm that with all my heart!

Still, a church without walls will also be a church without people if we choose to do nothing about it. Our spiritual parents and grandparents have called us again and again to rise up and start inviting our friends to church at Expo. Let's hear their call and obey it! Already I am hearing some wonderful testimonies which I hope to share with you soon. God has opened a window of opportunity for us in this time. Let's not miss it! Here are some pics! Enjoy! :)
