Go and Pastor the City!

As we reflect upon the Word and the Ways of God, we need to learn to think “Binocularly”. This maybe a S-L term, but it is a good thinking skill ie looking at the Big Picture.

We reflected on the whole sequence of events over the last few weeks, from the 40days fast and prayer, take the city walk, GCYC, launch of FCBC 20th year, “Jesus is Lord” series, etc….we are awed by the Sovereign hand of God over FCBC and our lives as a Body. God has indeed spoken! The message last weekend is both prophetic and significant. We believe it is the Rhema Word of God to commission us (FCBC) to pastor the city again! Not from a task point of view but through enthroning God as Lord FIRST, then prayer, feeling the hearts of the city, etc. then “GO”.

Family, do not harden your heart…Hear the word and OBEY! It is only in obedience that we can truly live out Jesus as Lord of all in our lives. We need to know that it is only in obedience to the Truth that we are building our lives on strong foundation. Foundation is not built overnight. it requires true commitment to follow/obey His Word.

Obey Jesus today! You have been sent! Go and pastor the city!
