Shenyang Update: We are home! God's favour saw us through!

We have completed our trip in Shenyang. I am happy in how things turned up in this trip. The final day when we visited the place for community service, we saw a church nearby. I am very excited because it is also near the place for MOL. I hope to visit the place during MOL.

The community service went very well. We had more than 5 TV stations covering the event. It was the first time for the organizer to have so many TV covering their programme. The students were very courageous in approaching the elderly.


Some elderly actually teared with amazement by the magic presented. Many students expressed satisfaction when they witnessed the smile on the elderly's faces. At the end of the visit, the students and the volunteers were bonded. All went out with the students after the community service. They had many interesting “encounters” during their time with the students. Do look out for Amos', Eugene's, Keng San's and Eric's sharing of their experiences with the students soon.


As I typed this in the airplane, we need to step up in prayers. We need to continue to uphold this period of favor before God and ask BIG for MOL and beyond. SP and team (which include me) would be back in late Oct to 7th nov. We need all the covering and continual favors to be His blessing to the students and Communist Youth Wing. We hope to be able to come back mid 07 to conduct further training with them.
