Heart for the MULTITUDE

Reflection from G12 Conference 2007


This is the 6th G12 conference and indeed, it is the best thus far. I believe that the Lord has brought us to a greater height in understanding the heart of the Lord… the heart for the MULTITUDE.

Do I really believe in seeing the multitude coming to the Lord?
This was something that bugged me during the conference.

And I know that the imperfect me says ‘No’.

Why?

The fear of having to clear the mess; to handle the lives of different people with different needs…so messy…Scary thoughts... I asked the Lord to cleanse and deal with my fearful heart… (Read on...)

The illumination of the Lord came when Pastor Eugene shared the remaining 6 values of G12. As Pastor spoke about total mobilization of G12 for the multitude, and the Abrahamic Covenant of the 3 generations, the Lord showed that these fears were rooted in the thinking that I have to do all these by myself.

But as the Holy Spirit showed me that this work will be accomplished not just on my own; but together with my spiritual parents over me; spiritual siblings beside me; and spiritual children under me; all of us together reaching the multitude, the fear in me was turned into faith.

I left the conference with a greater conviction of the following:

1. To be in the spiritual family where God has placed me; learning from and honouring my spiritual parents in every possible way.

2. To look far to see the multitude together with the family. One application that the Lord has given me was to call back all my GB members for the past 10 years for our GB company 10th anniversary. Through this, I believe the Lord will bring in the multitudes, the 144.

John 12:23-26 23Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
