Let me pray for you, mom
Thank God for the healing sessions that Ps has started us off during the resurrection Sunday service. It was indeed faith stretching time for us; yet trusting in Him who will answer prayer.
As I went through these 2 weeks of praying for the sick, the Lord brought to mind my own mother, who was due for a cataract operation in June.
"Shouldn't I pray for her too?"
Yes! And thank God for his divine arrangement, Monday came the opportunity when my mom and I went for a last minute shopping trip as I needed to get a pair of shoes for work.
On our way back, my mom was reminding me the schedule of her operation. I took the opportunity to share with her the move of God in our church in healing for the sick. Then I turned to her and asked, "Let me pray for you, mom."
She turned and asked, "But I'm scheduled for the operation soon, so how?"
So cute right?
I assured her that she did not cancel the operation even if she's healed, as it would be a good time for the doctor to examine her condition.
There and then, she agreed to let me pray for her; saying that she would be happier if she does not need to go for the operation.
AMEN!. Prayed for her, in the most fluent hokkien that I've ever spoken (must be speaking in tongue..haha) After that, shared with her how to trust God for the miracles to come to pass...
Am thankful for the divine appointment with my mom...
And am praying that she will see the miracles of God, with her own eyes and put her trust in Jesus!
