Blessing the community (Week2)

FCBC is carrying out a '100K Blessing' campaign from 8 July to 8 August, with the aim of blessing 100,000 lives for Christ. Over 5,000 of our members have committed themselves to accomplish this church-wide mission by reaching out to individuals around them – be it their loved ones, friends, colleagues or just about anybody that they meet – and praying for them in any areas of need that they are facing. This is a testimony from someone in our very own tribe! May his experience encourage and inspire you!

I started my 100K blessing last Monday. Then I only had 1 name and I did not have the courage to ask him. So, I prayed to God. After school that day, I went to approach my friend and I explained to him what it is about. He responded positively, so I blessed him.

The next day, when I went to class, my other classmates asked me what was this blessing thing about. I was wondering how they got to know about it. It happened that that day, we had 2 free periods as my teacher had something on. So I took the time to explain to them about the 100k blessing. They too responded and wanted to be blessed and soon, there was a line formed in class! One by one, I prayed for them and blessed them. Many asked to be prayed for health and family harmony.

The following day, more classmates and even students from the other classes got to know about it and they all wanted me to bless them. This continued until Friday when I realized I had no cards left. Up to this day (week 2), I have blessed 27 people and I want to thank God for that. Praise God!
