How has your day been?

Live in the light today!

I believe we are entering into the year of victory. We must not succumb to the voice of the devil to discourage or distract us. The devil wants us to be defeated, stressed out, knocked out, clashed out, and destroyed. Don’t play to the tune of the devil.

Both SP and Ceasar had spoken around new beginnings. Either they are wrong or we are not stepping into this new chapter.

I know they are right because this is very much in line with the nature of God ie to give us new beginnings.

Thus, turn away from all your defeated feelings and move into the new chapter NOW!

Many times, I am surprised by how effective the devil has been in trapping us into self condemnation, self doubt and self consciousness to the level of causing us to be very ineffective as a person and even more so as a minister of God. Upon further reflection, I know it is because we let him has his way! It is time we let the Holy Spirit to have His way in our lives. He should be the One that we give in to and not the devil!

And the Holy Spirt is saying that we are free! We are redeemed! We are Victorious in Christ! Let him who has ears hears what the Spirit is saying. The path to victory is to open to you this moment. You just need to walk into it!

Take a deep breath, and then thank God. Claim His promise and reject all discouraging feelings. Look to God and see Him change the picture for you.

Recently I had a very pleasant experience with God. I woke up with a rhema word from God. The word is GOOD. I started the day excited to see the GOOD things that I will experience. But before long, I was overwhelmed with work and forgot about the rhema word. The day went by with many discouraging situations, disappointing outcome, disturbing decision made. I was overwhelmed.

Then I remembered the rhema word. I asked God how can this be so?
The Lord then showed me that I have not been claiming His word. He showed me that the discouraging situation was good because it reminded me the need to stay sharp. The disappointing outcome was good time for me to learn GRACE. The disturbing decision was good because it would develop me to TRUST.

Before u think that I am consoling myself or being too optimistic, which I questioned if I was so too, the Lord showed me that this was what it means to live by FAITH in HIS WORD. Faith in the Word is not dependent on feelings or even facts. It is dependent on the unchanging Word of God. Faith is not needed when you accepted the fact…faith is needed when you choose to believe inspite of the facts.

My faith was not on the word. My faith was on the God who spoke the word to me. The object of my faith is and has to be GOD! When this is so, nothing is too bad that God cannot turn it for good!
How has your day been?
