What is the meditation of your heart?

Psalms 19:14 "May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer ."

What has been your meditation in your heart recently? Work? Studies? Money? Relationship? etc... As I pondered upon this verse, the truth challenged me. What I say and think occupies my life... Are they work? Plans? The scary thing is that DO THEY PLEASE THE LORD?

Many a time we are more conscious about ourselves and our own feelings, so much so that we are oblivious to Him; and His feelings. I was sharing with my fellow G12 bro n sis last week regarding the topic of knowing God. What struck me was that, sometimes, we think we can FIGURE OUT who God is and what He wants; we think we don’t really need to SEEK Him, to learn what TRULY pleases Him.

Have my words and mediation been pleasing to GOD?
vs13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.

My resolution upon the meditation of these verses is to PUT AWAY fleshly meditation; and to PUT ON the meditation of HIM;
- through memory verses; and the promises of God;
- to walk in FULL Obedience rather than SELECTIVE obedience
