After being equipped with super-charged emotions as well as understanding on Maundy Thursday; alongside with our own sub-tribe’s Good Friday event; came the real deal… to try to bring across the message of Good Friday to young lost and yet to be found souls.
Week after week, there’ll be lessons and activities in place. But today, marks a different day, it was the day before resurrection Sunday. On that day, Angela will be sharing with them on the Good Friday Message during devotion.
I felt that there was a slight difference in the atmosphere when Angela was sharing the message. The Boys were relatively attentive and at the same time excited; some of them had started asking questions and stuffs to clarify the unknown truths that they have yet to understand. I felt that it was good, as it has somehow stirred up an interest in some of the Boys.
However, the highlight during the sharing session started when Angela played a video on the crucifix of Christ (extracted from the Passion of Christ Film along with a song composed by a local singer). As soon as the video was played, I believe that more then just some stirred up interest within them, some of the Boys would have felt God’s presence with them in that room. Following this, Angela did a superb closing of the video session, whereby she explained the cause as to why Jesus have to go through the cross and had a CALL extended to them. After which, she closed in prayer.
It was during the Call that I felt, “Hey! There’s Hope for this entire company, as even our devotion session can be turned into a call for salvation to the lost. We also believe that one day, all of them can be saved; even as we start sowing the seeds of Christianity into their lives.” Especially after how Amos, Narash, Angela and Sarah, have already paved the way for this to take place in the BB company. Thus dear brethrens continue to keep the company in prayer, even as we have gone forth with the Spirit to mould them into Christian manliness.
