These are a selection of reflections and learning from Kenneth's guys. I hope that as you read through them, you will be able to identify too with how they have been encouraged and that you yourself will be encouraged and affirmed about what God has done and will continue to do in your life.

I was physically quite exhausted when I arrived at the tribe camp. It had been a rather crazy week for me and I was hoping to be able to get a good rest at the camp. Although I did not sleep very well the two nights I was at the camp, I found the camp to be a great blessing and I was often able to put aside my tiredness.
It was great to have the family all together, especially with many new faces around that I had not seen before. It was a good to get to know other people in the SJ tribe through interacting with them during the group time. It was wonderful to be able to get away from all the things of the world which so often distract us, and spend three days really focusing on God.
The most meaningful activity for me was the structured experience on the second day of the camp. There were indeed many lessons to be learned from the mild suffering we had to endure.
The Holy Spirit blessed me with a new understanding of God's love for me, and I felt especially restful in Him. I am excited to be a Warrior of Light and to be a blessing to others, especially in the upcoming 100k campaign. The symbolic act of crossing the line was a great chance for me to renew my commitment to always keep my eyes set on the higher goal I have in Christ Jesus. I am very thankful for this tribe camp, and I pray that we will continue to be a tribe united in love. (Read on...)

During this Family Camp, the Lord has shown me so many things. He brought me closer to my extended family and I got to know many of my brothers and sisters outside of my sub-tribe. I really want to thank God for my group mates and my leader Timothy who really showed much care and love for me.
His Love: I was overwhelmed by the amount of love the Lord poured out onto me. I was asking the Lord to show me His love and to pour out His love unto me (this was on Day 2 Devotion Time). Immediately after that during the next session, I was consumed by His love and started to tear. I can never understand or imagine how much is His love and forgiveness.
Even though I'm a sinner, for sins great and small, past present or future, He can still love me. The Lord just spoke all these to me and I was immersed in His love. The extent of His love and forgiveness just moved me that very moment.
Faith: I learned to trust Him even more and after that session my faith level just exploded. At times, I question myself about my own faith, and the Lord convicted me in my unbelief at times. However, after taking that step to walk into God's kingdom, I have given a new level of commitment to Him. It was a joyous moment and I filled with happiness! I will have to continue to trust in Him in whatever I do and that everything is in His hands.
The Lord also gave me a vision of an empty cross and I thank God for that, for our God is almighty and that He had overcame death.
The Process: The most important lesson I have learnt in the camp is this: God is not impressed by what you have achieved or done for Him. He is only impressed by what you have become.

Brand-NEW: It is still pretty tough for me to identify when God is speaking to me, but going into the camp, being a brand-new Christian, I had a lot of doubts and questions about my beliefs. Christianity was still a conscious decision for me, and I kept asking myself which behaviors were good Christian ones and what I should do to grow my faith in God.
Open Mind: I thought that was one of the key points for me throughout the camp. I constantly reminded myself that if I had an open heart a willing mind, God's presence in me could only grow. Even the very theme of the camp, "Warriors of Light", seemed to be calling out to me. The very nature of the sermons seemed to be answering my questions on how to be a stronger Christian and be as God had intended us. Clearly, God was speaking to me, I thought.
Hunger: Thus, it is with this attitude of willingness that I felt that I had learnt all these valuable lessons from camp. Pastor Seng Lee constantly preached about hunger and the desire for God, and his words really reinforced my belief in God and instilled in me the desire to continuously walk this journey. Having a desire for God means constantly reaching out to God, be it through coming to church, having worship sessions, or just reading the bible, it also means being disciplined and committed. That is the attitude that I have tried to follow since becoming a Christian, and it is an attitude that I intend to keep striving for.
I am not really into the habit of praying for things yet, but I realize that one way or another, we do ask for things from God sub-consciously.
To be a blessing: One blessing that I wish to claim for myself is simply to be a blessing to other people, like so many people in my life have been to me. I do think that I have been pretty blessed throughout my life, from my biological family, to my newly-found spiritual family; I have found love and strength among them all. I too hope that one day, others might be able to find the very same things in me.
