TS Prayer Meeting 3

Praying is life's highest privilege! Why? Because it is prayer that allows us to draw near to the heart of God. In prayer we commune with our awesome heavenly Father. Prayer gives us access to the ear of God, enabling us to fulfill His purposes in the earth! And in prayer, He actually shares His deepest desires and purposes with us.

This week as we pray, let’s learn to:
1) Bless the Lord - Acknowledge the goodness and greatness of God
2) Inspect the Walls - Allow the Lord to open our eyes to see the conditions of our lives
3) Claim His Promises - Rebuild the walls through His promises

Bless The Lord
Acknowledge the goodness and greatness of God
Declaration:
Declare and thank God for His goodness in our lives
Proclaim His goodness and greatness using Ps 103

Inspect the Walls
Allow the Lord to open our eyes to see the conditions of our lives
Listening & Intercession Time:
Let’s learn from Nehemiah, to inspect the walls of our lives, individually and corporately, and ask God for revelations over the areas of lives that are broken and destroyed.
As you seek the Lord for His revelation, jot down the points and start to ask God how to pray over these broken walls.

Nehemiah 2:11-13
Nehemiah Inspects Jerusalem's Walls
11 I went to Jerusalem, and after staying there three days 12 I set out during the night with a few men. I had not told anyone what my God had put in my heart to do for Jerusalem. There were no mounts with me except the one I was riding on.
13 By night I went out through the Valley Gate toward the Jackal [a] Well and the Dung Gate, examining the walls of Jerusalem, which had been broken down, and its gates, which had been destroyed by fire.

Claim His Promises
Rebuild the walls through His promises
- Thank God that He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.(Ps 103: 9-10)

- Speak forth the promises of God over the areas of brokenness.
Isaiah 61:3
a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor

Ps Sook San
