"Daughter, your faith has healed you..."

A month ago, I suffered a relapse of pain on my upper back right down to my right leg. I had this condition 2 years ago, in Jakarta, after a slipped disc. The relapse was largely due to the strain on the back while running the last lap in school - plenty of marking, sitting down, poor posture, failure to stretch and take care of my back.

Many people prayed for healing, but at the back of my mind, I was just looking forward to seeing my chiropractor again. 2 years ago, she manipulated the soft tissues so that my spine, hips and whatever else that was 'off' would be 'in alignment' again. The pain left after 2 sessions with her. This time, after paying $200 to see her, there was an additional pain in my heart. The stiffness on the upper back and right leg remained.

I had the same frustrating pain when I lifted my hands in worship. I had the similar tormenting pain when I drove. I could not stand for too long, I could not sit for too long. I was sapped of my strength. Then on 26th November, Pastor Lawrence Khong preached on the God Who Heals. My faith was aroused as I determined in my heart to go for prayers at the altar, after the sermon. Go I did, and the lady who prayed for me saw a vision of a river flowing through me.

That same evening, my pain left me completely - until now! Praise the LORD!
