Run out of heart

Can one ever understand what it means as much as Miss Poon?

Have I run out of heart lately?

I have not used even half of it!
I was busy with discouragement and less-than-half-heartedness.

Convicted to love God more.

How?
Through acts of kindness, diligently and whole-heartedly.

As a counsellor, I have plenty of opportunities. My clients are God’s creations. Special. With needs.

Will they see Jesus in me?

I recall Jeremiah 12:5 – “If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?”

If I have not been faithful in the little things in Singapore, how can I serve God in other nations?
