Dear God, thank you so much…
Saw the paper plate? Read the words? My heart just thanked God for such a simple yet great gift on this Mother’s Day. It was given to me by my beloved niece, Jalena. More than the fact that she sees me as a spiritual mum, I am thankful to God for her relationship with Him. She is 7 years old this year and she wanted to receive the gift of tongue during Jackie Pullinger’s seminar. I prayed for her and she spoke in tongue though a little anxious and uncertain in the beginning. That was Saturday.
On Sunday when Jalena came to my house, she, together with my sister and me, prayed for her younger brother, Jerald, to accept Jesus. Jerald gave his life to Jesus! Jalena practiced her tongue again and became a little more assured and shared with her brother about this new language. We then prayed for Jerald to receive the gift of tongue. He spoke a little and was anxious and uncertain too. We encouraged him to practise and not to be fearful as it’s a special gift from God to every one of us.
Everything happened in a very simple manner, yet my heart is touched deeply by His grace for my family. The kids are my love and my prayer is to see them knowing Jesus and living for Him. Life is actually very simple, isn’t it? Just open your heart and let His love set you free…
