Nick Vujicic at Youth Service 9 Nov 08

There are quite a few interesting events coming up in the near future, some of which will be good for you to take note of. In the next few posts, I will try and draw your attention to them.

First up, Nick Vujicic, an incredible young man, will be back at FCBC to share his life-changing testimony on 9 Nov 08 at Youth Service. This is a great opportunity for all of us to invite our friends to hear Nick's unique story. I am sure many of you were blessed greatly when he came the last time. Nick Vujicic is 25 years old (26 on Dec 4). He was born without arms or legs and given no medical reason for this condition. Faced with countless challenges and obstacles, God has given him the strength to surmount what others might call impossible. Along with that, the Lord has placed within him an unquenchable passion to share this same hope and genuine love that He have personally experienced with more than two million people all over the globe.

God has used him to let people know in countless schools, churches, prisons, orphanages, hospitals, stadiums and in face-to-face encounters with individuals how very precious they are to God. Secondly, it is his pleasure to assure them that God does have a plan for their lives that is purposeful. For God took his life, one that others might disregard as having any significance and filled him with His purpose and showed him His plans to move hearts and lives toward Him. Understanding this, though faced with struggles, you can overcome too.
